Where ever you are on this lovely planet that has almost zero problems, you are gonna relate to this. You see, I’m not a big fan of criticizing people’s live choices, but I do not like seeing them dragging you to become like them. Now, I’m not talking about the bigger things in life. No, I’m talking about those tiny stuff that always matter.
It all started with that procrastination. The halt of things that started this problem. When you live in the hottest spot on Earth where it reaches to 50℃ in Summer, and you just decide to accept it and take a walk early in the morning or later in the evening. However, they always say to you: “It’s so hot outside!” Well, thanks for the heads-up! I know it’s hot, so what? Like it’s fresh news or something. I get it, it’s hot. So, because it’s hot I don’t have to live and adapt? By the way, it’s been always hot like this and I’m pretty sure it will keep going up until we decide to let go of the ego and see what to do about climate change. Besides, why do you always have to bring this up? I’m quite sure this also goes for the countries that are always freezing most of the year.
The “not now” thing
When you hear some lovely human beings saying this it means that it probably won’t ever happen, or at least not now. “Not now” does not convey not at the particular moment, no. It means not now during life. Maybe after life? I don’t know, but as far as I know it’s not now. Just wait. Or don’t wait because it’s not gonna be happening “now.”
Why is it so hard to adapt? Why do we always have to drag people with us to the same mental world we’re living in? I think there are people out there that will think I’m exaggerating a bit. Guess what? You’re right. Yes, you’re completely right. I think we usually make small matters bigger by spending too much time contemplating them. But still, why is it so hard to adapt to the weather? And they all act like it’s their first time experiencing searing Kuwaiti Summer.
